Natalie Perry Jewellery launches with Fairtrade gold collection

New British fine jewellery brand, Natalie Perry Jewellery, has launched its debut collection, Floral Fragments.
Former Facets PR junior account manager, Natalie Ball, unveiled her debut collection at the jewellery specialist agency’s Christmas in July event yesterday (July 11).
Crafted in 18ct Fairtrade gold filigree and adorned with white diamonds and coloured gemstones, the debut range has inspired by disintegrating murals that adorn the walls of ancient Indian temples where the designer once lived.
Natalie Ball completed a degree in jewellery and accessories at Middlesex University in 2014. During her time at university she worked as a jewellery designer in India’s jewellery capital, Jaipur before returning to London to assist British jewellery designer Alice Cicolini.
“I’ve always found beauty in the unconventional and the dilapidated forts and temples of Rajasthan were a big inspiration to me while I was working in India,” she reveals. “These influences formed the basis of my previous work, which have carried through into my first fine jewellery collection, Floral Fragments.”
Discussing the decision to work with Fairtrade gold, Ball adds: “It was also important for me to start as I mean to go on, so I chose to make the collection in the UK from Fairtrade Gold – to ensure traceability – after hearing first-hand the positive impact that Fairtrade has had on miners and their communities. Fairtrade Gold is creating an exciting future for the jewellery industry and I’m glad to be part of it.”
Designed to be interchangeable and collectable, the versatile collection comprises necklaces, pendants, earrings and ear jackets.

The collection is available for wholesale and online on the brand’s website, and prices for the are between RRP £690 – £2,950.
