Amazon’s New Try-and-Return Service Likely Includes Jewelry
Amazon's newly launched Prime services let users offer and, if they choose, return three to 15 clothing and accessories items at a time likely including jewelry.
Amazon's Prime Wardrobe is like to other "box" services, like Stitch Fix and Trunk Club, that gives user sample items, generally picked by an algorithm.
With Amazon’s service, the user selects the items, which are then sent for no charge. He or she has a week to decide whether to keep the items or send them back. Shipping is free both ways.
And of course there’s a discount: There’s a 10 percent price cut for anyone who keeps three or more items, and 20 percent cut for those who keep five or more.
At press time, it wasn’t clear whether high-end items will be included and what jewelry items are part of the service. The announcement mentions available brands, including Calvin Klein, Adidas, Hugo Boss, Theory, Lacrosse, J Brand, and one watch brand: Timex.
The service, only available to subscribers to Amazon Prime, is still in beta and not available in all areas.
